Open Residencies are a moment of sharing the creative processes of the artists who are in residency at LARGO. A space that invites each artist’s work to meet the audience’s first gaze.
synopsis
“Be simple and compact like a stone. The lava stone as a muse. Its silence as an invitation to listen. Its shape as a warning: there is hidden movement in the most solid and stable place. Observing this subterranean matter, as an act of intensified attention, suspending the rush and the impulse to act, because something different may emerge in the movement, also in the form of an improvised rupture. By becoming stones, containing each other, finding edges with something outside ourselves, enabling experiences of receiving, holding, channelling and letting flow.”
