NO COMFORT ZONE

A four performers quartet freeling ispired by Beethoven Strings quartet Op. 131 in E minor
No Comfort Zone explores the discomfort and risk as keys elements within a creative process, using a compositional structure with spaces open to choreographic and sound improvisation.

The project was selected within the context of Project: choreographic Residences in Lavanderia A vapore 3.0 / Piemonte Vivo and received a special mention from the selection committee of the first open call for Choreographic residences. The project receives the support of Torinodanza Festival, the financial and organizational support of Lavanderia a Vapore di Piemonte dal Vivo, and the collaboration of Interplay Festival.

The next phase of NO COMFORT ZONE continues with a residency from 22nd  until 30th of July, at Teatro Municipal do Campo Alegre, Porto (PT), with the support of Companhia Instavel and at SOUDOS – Espaço Rural de Artes  with the support of  Vo’arte production company.
